The fully ripened grapes were harvested from the Oddone Vineyard in the heart of DryCreekValley. The 2006 vintage yielded low tannin levels in the juice, making this wine table friendly and very drinkable in its youth. At first whiff the nose of the wine finds the aroma of rich caramel. The essences of plum and red cherries appear on the palate with just a hint of oak framing the fruit. To round out its complexity the wine finishes with just a hint of black licorice.A definite, buy and drink now wine.
