Our Wines

Light, bright and crisp, the 2009 Napa Valley Chardonnay is decidedly unoaked.  100% Carneros fruit just bursts with floral notes.  With no barrel age and no malolactic fermentation, this wine is easy drinking and pairs wonderfully with your favorite seafood or citrisy salad.

The fully ripened grapes were harvested from the Oddone Vineyard in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. The 2006 vintage yielded low tannin levels in the juice, making this wine table friendly and very drinkable in its youth. At first whiff the nose of the wine finds the aroma of rich caramel. The essences of plum and red cherries appear on the palate with just a hint of oak framing the fruit. To round out its complexity the wine finishes with just a hint of black licorice. A definite, buy and drink now wine.

Our Estate Zinfandel is produced from grapes grown on our 28 year old 2 acre hillside vineyard planted to St. George rootstock. The nose exudes soft caramel and sweet raspberry with a touch of white pepper. The American Oak influence frames the fruit in a very food friendly manner. The silky mouth feel and soft, lingering finish beg to be paired with your favorite roasted meat. Definitively approachable for a 2006 vintage as compared to the cellar friendly nature of the 2005’s.

The 2007 Oat Hill Estate Zinfandel is one of the largest vintages from Laura Zahtila Vineyards (424 cases).  Sweet plum and black cherry frame the bouquet  while the voluptuous, juicy fruit shows through in Laura’s unique style.  The beautiful ruby red color and soft hints of caramel mingle with earthy undertones and subtle spice.  Decant this wine for an hour and ...

Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon illustrates the depth & intensity that have made this region famous. The hue is deep purple with aromas of black raspberry & plum, all wrapped up with toasty vanilla notes. Barreled in 30% new French oak, the palate is layered with earth tones and integrated tannins.

An exceptional representation of the Rutherford terrior. This wine has a deep, concentrated violet-purple color and wonderful, floral bouquet.

Produced from 67% Petite Sirah and 33% Oat Hill Estate Zinfandel, this wine is a well balanced vintage Port fortified with Domain Charbay grape brandy. At only 8% residual sugar, it enhances chocolate desserts and a cigar, if you must!

As Theme’s go, Theme’s change. The 2005 Laura’s Theme is 100% dark, delicious Dry Creek Petite Sirah. Sourced from Pier and Barbara Oddone, this succulent dessert wine begs to be paired with your favorite chocolate dessert – the darker, the better.
